Rob joined the CDP after a fifteen-year finance career, most recently serving as President & CEO of the Dennis-based Aquacultural Research Corporation, the largest shellfish hatchery in New England. After completing a business administration degree in Finance & Accounting at the University of Richmond, Rob began his career at KPMG in Austin, Texas. Rob then moved to Seattle, Washington to climb mountains and to ride bicycles while volunteering at two arts organizations. In Seattle, Rob met his wife Siobhan, originally from Wellfleet, and they decided to move to Cape Cod. He then completed a sculpture degree at Maine College of Art before settling in Wellfleet year-round where he now lives with Siobhan, their son Malachi, Airedale mix Otto, and eight hens. You will most likely find Rob enjoying the landscape of the Cape spending his free time hiking, cycling, surfing and boating.
Rob serves as treasurer for the Cape Cod Modern House Trust, working to conserve historic homes in the Cape Cod National Seashore. As treasurer for Wellfleet Shellfish Promotion and Tasting from 2013 to 2018, he helped to fund the CDP’s Shellfish Loan Fund. In 2018 Rob was presented with a Cape & Plymouth 40 Under 40 award, which recognizes the region’s top young business leaders.
Rob joined the CDP in 2019 as the Chief Fiscal and Operations Officer, and transitioned to the role of Chief Property Management Officer in August of 2020.
