We partner with municipalities, nonprofit organizations, and mission-driven developers to create affordable housing that helps meet the growing need for year-round homes on the Lower and Outer Cape. By bringing together local partners, securing funding, and guiding projects from concept to completion, we help expand housing opportunities for individuals, families, and the workforce that sustain our communities.

Most recently, the CDP partnered with Preservation of Affordable Housing (POAH) to develop The Residences at Lawrence Hill in Wellfleet, a 46-home affordable rental community that provides high-quality, energy-efficient housing for year-round residents. The development welcomed its first residents in 2026 and is already helping local families, workers, and seniors remain part of the community they call home.
