Free Small Business Assistance in Provincetown Are you starting a new business or ready to take your existing business to the next level? The Community Development Partnership can help! The CDP is offering free in-person meetings at The Commons once a month.
The year’s kickoff workshop will look back across the last ten years to assess where the region, towns, and program have made progress towards housing production goals. Participants will discuss challenges that remain and are new to the conversation, as well as evaluate tools, resources, and solutions that can be utilized moving forward.
Admin Night is a drop-in, hands-on support event designed to help small business owners tackle the administrative tasks that often get pushed to the bottom of the to-do list. Rather than a traditional workshop with a presentation, participants can stop by with their questions, laptops, paperwork, or business challenges and receive practical, individualized assistance. The goal is to create a welcoming, low-pressure environment where entrepreneurs can get help with social media, QuickBooks, bookkeeping, and everyday business administration while building skills and confidence to manage their businesses more effectively.
Homeownership Education Program Buying your first home is not easy, especially with rising housing costs and interest rates. The good news is that homebuyer education will help you find resources and tools to achieve your housing and financial goals. Purchasing a home is one of the most important financial decisions you will make. CDP’s homebuyer education includes FTHB (First Time Home Buyer) workshops and Individual Counseling. We are here to help you get started and get closer to your goals of financial freedom and one day owning a home. Participating in our FTHB workshops can help take some of the mystery and stress out of the home buying process, as well as potentially save you time and money. Our workshops provide information on budgeting, looking for, selecting, and purchasing a home, and local resources that may be available to buyers. The program is offered virtually from October 2026 to May 2027. Each virtual workshop consists of four classes, with each class running from 5:30 pm – 8 pm for a total of 9 hours.
Quarterly Peer Group meetings are an informal discussion space for municipal officials and town staff who are involved in or interested in housing production on the Lower and Outer Cape.
