Chief Financial Officer

Status: Full-time Exempt Position (37.5 hours/week)

DESCRIPTION

The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) is responsible for the management of the CDP’s financial and administrative functions including human resources, IT, risk management, facilities, and finance. The CFO is a member of the organization’s Senior Management Team and participates in new program development with the Chief Executive Officer (CEO), key staff, board members, and program stakeholders. The CFO supervises three direct reports. In addition, the CFO is responsible for ensuring that reporting requirements with funders and subsidizing agencies are met in a timely manner.

The Chief Financial Officer is a member of the organization’s senior management team and reports to the Chief Executive Officer. The CFO will work from the CDP’s office located at 3 Main Street Mercantile, Eastham, Massachusetts and there is an opportunity to work remotely up to 3 days per week. This is a Full-Time Exempt Position (37.5 hours/week).

Director of Housing Advocacy

Status: Full-time Exempt Position (37.5 hours/week)

DESCRIPTION

The Housing Advocacy Program Director oversees program development and implementation of the Lower Cape Community Housing Partnership, contracted housing services to towns, and Homebuyer Education. The Housing Advocacy Program Director reports to the Chief Program Officer and supervises one direct report.

The Housing Advocacy Program Director will work from the CDP’s office located at 3 Main Street Mercantile, Eastham, Massachusetts and there is an opportunity to work remotely up to 3 days per week. This is a Full-Time Exempt Position (37.5 hours/week).

Director of Property Management

Status: Full-time Exempt Position (37.5 hours/week)

Description: The Director of Property Management will support the CDP’s Chief Property Management Officer in the management of the CDP’s existing portfolio of 100 affordable and community rental homes located in sixteen sites and in the expansion of the Department to manage 100 to 150 additional units.

The Director of Property Management will work out of our office in Eastham, and report to the Chief Property Management Officer. They will work closely with the current Director of Property Management to manage the onboarding of a new client’s portfolio of 80+ units.

Program Manager of Housing Rehabilitation

Status: Full-time Exempt position (37.5 hours/week)

Description: The Program Manager of Housing Rehabilitation is responsible for the administration and management of the CDP’s Housing Rehabilitation programs including the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) loan program and the Accessory Dwelling Unit (ADU) Resource Center. The Program Manager provides program implementation support to the Director of Housing Rehabilitation Programs and is also responsible for outreach to homeowners and general contractors in targeted areas.

The Program Manager of Housing Rehabilitation will work from the CDP’s office located at 3 Main Street Mercantile, Eastham, Massachusetts and there is an opportunity to work remotely up to 3 days per week. This is a Full-Time Exempt Position (37.5 hours/week).

Community Organizer

Status: Full-time position (37.5 hours/week)

Time Frame: Review Begins December 8, 2021, position open until filled

Description:

The Community Organizer will work closely with our Director of Housing Advocacy to conduct outreach, base building, training, education, and leadership development among our Lower Cape community. The Community Organizer will work with our housing development team to assist with community engagement, as needed. Additionally, the Community Organizer will work with our Chief Development & Communications Officer to assist with the design of our in-house campaign to build public support for housing.

The Community Organizer reports to the Director of Housing Advocacy. The Community Organizer will work from the CDP’s office located at 3 Main Street Mercantile, Eastham, Massachusetts and there is an opportunity to work remotely up to 3 days per week.

Volunteer Opportunities

Marketing & Communications Volunteer

The Marketing & Communications Volunteer supports the CDP’s marketing and communications efforts. Projects include development of marketing materials, proof-reading of copy, creating Facebook posts, updating media contacts and other admin related tasks. You should have:

  • strong writing and organizational skills,
  • experience with MS Word (experience with Publisher & InDesign is a plus),
  • access to a computer with internet
  • the ability to work from home or at the CDP’s offices in Eastham.

General Administrative Volunteer

The CDP is looking for volunteers who are interested in working on a variety of administrative and clerical tasks including filing, data entry, phone calls, etc. An ability to adapt to shifting needs and possess a positive customer service oriented attitude is ideal. This position includes weekly meetings with our Chief Financial and Operations Officer in Eastham and is ongoing. Experience with MS Word is required.
