We will share plans for the year ahead, elect new Board leadership, and recognize recipients of our two annual awards: the Gwen Pelletier Award for Excellence in Community Service and the Norm Edinburg Award for Excellence in Entrepreneurship.
We are delighted to welcome our keynote speaker Massachusetts Secretary of Housing and Livable Communities Edward M. Augustus the first Housing Secretary in the state in more than 30 years. Secretary Augustus leads the Healey-Driscoll Administration’s pro-housing agenda. During his tenure as Worcester City Manager, Augustus helped create thousands of new housing units at all income levels and is a passionate advocate for addressing our state and our region’s housing affordability crisis.
