In response to the urgent housing shortage, the Homeless Prevention Council and Community Development Partnership (two Orleans-based, housing-focused non-profits) teamed up to form the Lower Cape Housing and ADU Resource Center to help Lower and Outer Cape residents secure and provide more year-round affordable housing.
This information session will provide an overview of the free services and supports offered by these two organizations through the Resource Center: housing stabilization funds, landlord education, rental listings, rental assistance, technical assistance for homeowners considering an ADU build on their property, and support for towns in addressing common challenges in ADU production.
A member of the Orleans Planning and Community Development Department will also join us to discuss recent changes to the Orleans ADU Bylaw.
Residents from any of the 8 Lower and Outer Cape Towns are welcome to attend.
