Donna Walker
Donna serves as the Director of Diversity, Equity & Inclusion for the Town of Provincetown. A resident of Provincetown since 2002, Donna has devoted her career to higher education, having held key admissions roles at Sweet Briar College, Wellesley College, and Tufts University.
From 2013 to 2022, she was part of the Admissions Team at Cape Cod Community College, where she focused on recruiting and enrolling both traditional and non-traditional students. As a project coordinator for 4Cs, she helped recruit and support students from low-income backgrounds to participate in STEM and Renewable Energy programs. This work included collaborating with student cohorts from Dennis-Yarmouth and Barnstable High Schools, enabling them to enroll in college courses offered both at their schools and on the Cape Cod Community College campus.
In addition to her professional work, Donna is a dedicated community member. She is a member of the CDP Advisory Board, regularly participates in CDP Housing Institute sessions, and currently serves on Provincetown’s Planning Board. She holds an A.B. from Vassar College and is completing her master’s degree at the Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies.
