Emma Fillion
Community Organizing ManagerEmma Fillion was raised “on the edge”, in Provincetown. Her engagement with the natural environment and local environmental advocacy groups deepened her love of nature and sparked curiosity about the connectedness of the systems around her.
Eager to explore beyond Cape Cod, Emma headed to Centre College in Danville, Kentucky, where she graduated with a B.S. in Economics and Finance and Environmental Studies.
After returning home in 2022, Emma deepened her commitment to local civic life by volunteering with the Provincetown Conservation Commission and the Recycling and Renewable Energy Committee. She began her journey into community organizing through her work at Lower Cape TV and Provincetown TV, where she discovered the power of local media and shared space to bring people together.
Most recently, Emma founded After Hours, a nonprofit dedicated to fostering meaningful connections among young adults and creating opportunities for intergenerational exchange. Through hosting gatherings, workshops, and creative events at Lower Cape TV, After Hours reflects Emma’s passion for building inclusive spaces where people can learn, create, and belong.
In her spare time, Emma enjoys reading, reorganizing her apartment (again), and sharing a meal with friends.
