Affordable Housing Lottery for the Residences at Lawrence Hill in Wellfleet Opens September 15th

The Residences at Lawrence Hill, a new affordable housing community featuring 46 affordable, sustainably designed rental housing units located on Lawrence Road in Wellfleet is on track to finish construction and welcome residents in early 2026. The new development will provide low- and moderate-income families access to new, permanent, stable, year-round affordable housing. The Residences at Lawrence Hill was developed through a partnership between the nonprofit organizations the Community Development Partnership (CDP) and Preservation of Affordable Housing (POAH) in collaboration with Studio G Architects.
The Residences at Lawrence Hill will accommodate a range of household incomes. All 46 units, including 16 one-bedroom, one-bath homes, 25 two-bedroom, one-bath homes, and 5 three-bedroom, 1.5 bath homes, will count toward Wellfleet's subsidized housing inventory and will more than double the number of affordable housing units in the town. Seventy-six percent of the units will be reserved for those earning no more than 60 percent of the area median income (AMI).
Housing Lottery Opens September 15th and runs through November 21st
The CDP and POAH are offering three information sessions: two sessions via Zoom on Monday, October 6th at 6 pm and Saturday, November 8th at 10 am and an in-person session on Monday, November 17th at 6 pm at the Wellfleet Adult Community Center. Registration for the information sessions will be open on September 15th.
