May 10th: Personal Finance and Credit
Are your personal finances getting in the way of your wellbeing? Don’t even know where to start? Community Development Partnership will be hosting Jim Curran, Financial Know-How Program Manager from Cape Cod 5, to share a step-by-step approach to navigating your way through budget building, debt reduction, saving strategies and basic fraud awareness.
May 17th: Finding a Home: What to Expect?
Are you exploring the purchase of your own home? Community Development Partnership will be hosting Tabitha Baker, Mortgage Loan Officer from Cape Cod 5. Tabitha has over 18 years of mortgage banking experience, specializing in portfolio products, first-time homebuyer products and loans through MassHousing and the Federal Housing Administration (FHA). Topics will include deciding when to buy, an overview of the home purchase process, qualifying for a mortgage and what is needed to close.
May 24th: Long-term Saving and Investing
Do you want to learn more about how to invest in long-term for retirement, education and health care? We will be hosting Anna Hays, Senior Wealth Management Officer at Cape Cod 5. Anna will share some helpful tips regarding Roth & Traditional IRA’s, Employer Sponsored Plans such as 403(b), 401(k) and 457(b), 529 Accounts, Health Savings Accounts and Long-Term Care Insurance.
