Join Kimberly Concra, LDN, Extension Educator, Nutrition and Food Safety with the Cape Cod Cooperative Extension for a two part workshop to help you earn your food safety certification.
Part one of the workshop, Food Safety Manager Training on February 28th from 5:30-8:00 pm will be a remote learning session, including a Q&A session, on the Massachusetts Food Safety requirements for your food business.
Part two of the workshop, on March 7th from 2:00-4:30 pm OR 5:30-8:00 pm will be an in-person ServSafe Manager Review and Exam. Masking and Social Distancing Measures will be required. Strict Limit to 8 in each session.
Cost: The Cost to register for the two session workshop is $40. Participants will pay an additional $65 for the ServSafe Manual. Thanks to the support of the CDP's workshop funder, the $65 Manual fee will be refunded to participants who (1) live in the 8 Lower and Outer Cape towns and complete the exam on March 7th.
This workshop is limited to a total of 16 people, with a preference for those from the Lower and Outer Cape. At this time, we are permitting people outside the Lower and Outer Cape to register to be on a waitlist for this workshop. If there are less than 16 registrants, we will take people off this waitlist. You will not be charged unless and until you are put in the workshop. The cost for those people coming off the waitlist will be $105 for the workshop ($40) and book ($65).
