Who We Are

Raphael Richter

Raphael is an entrepreneur and local business owner who has lived on Cape Cod his entire life. He and his wife Vida are both graduates of Provincetown High School and live in Provincetown along with their baby boy Mica and their two cats. Raphael currently owns and manages his ground transportation companies Mercedes & Cape Cab, The Funk Bus, and Mayflower Trolley, and enjoys spending as much time with his family as possible. Sometimes, he can be seen hosting or washing dishes at Vida's restaurant, The Nor'East Beer Garden. He previously co-founded and managed Shakespeare on the Cape, a non-profit theater company that put on productions all over Cape Cod and as far afield as Minneapolis. He served on the Board of Selectmen in Provincetown from 2014-2017 including a year as Chairman of the Board. He is particularly proud of his Board's work in tackling the local housing crisis.

Raphael is particularly interested in lending his local knowledge as a business owner and political leader to the CDP, and is excited to be a part of creating new housing opportunities for our communities and nurturing new entrepreneurs and small businesses so they may succeed.
