The Community Development Partnership and the Homeless Prevention Council Launch the Lower Cape Housing Resource Center
The Community Development Partnership (CDP) and the Homeless Prevention Council (HPC) are pleased to announce the launch of the Lower Cape Housing & ADU Resource Center. This initiative has been established thanks to the efforts of Representative Sarah Peake with funding from the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA.) “The creation and implementation of the Lower Cape Housing & ADU Resource Center was my top priority when the Legislature began to distribute ARPA funds,” said Representative Sarah Peake (D-Provincetown). “The $1 million earmark I secured for the HPC and CDP afforded them the ability to obtain the resources they need to craft innovative solutions to the housing crisis. The Lower Cape Housing & ADU Resource Center is a key example of how great things can come from hard work and close collaboration between legislative leaders and local nonprofit organizations. These efforts will tremendously help stabilize and secure housing for the local workforce and our residents who are at the greatest risk of becoming homeless.”
